Marine Corps Observes Red Ribbon Week and Prescription Drug Take Back Day

The National Family Partnership sponsors the annual celebration of Red Ribbon Week, which has become the catalyst to show intolerance for drugs in schools, workplaces, and communities. During the last week in October, more than 80 million young people and adults show their commitment to a healthy, drug-free life by wearing or displaying a red ribbon. 

The Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) National Prescription Drug Take Back Day reflects DEA’s commitment to Americans’ safety and health, encouraging the public to remove unneeded medications from their homes to prevent medication misuse and opioid addiction. National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is happening on October 26, 2024 across the United States.
